Whole Hearted Therapies is the culmination of my professional dreams since my teen years. Through decades of learning various healing modalities and, through my own life experiences, my heart is filled with gratitude to open this Whole Hearted Therapies practice in 2021. Under my care, clients sense and embrace the “holistic hug” that Whole Hearted Therapies imparts. It incorporates and encapsulates an integrative and holistic model for whole being healing and internal wellness with a sense of lightness and freedom.
I had always envisioned my career path as a pyramid with my 500 hour yoga teacher training as the base and being a Registered Dietitian as the center. I soon realized I was more curious about multi-dimensional health & healing as we exist as multi-dimensional beings. Upon reflection, it’s felt as though my spirit has always been on a quest for creative ways to understand and express all the different parts of our psychology and personality. That’s when Somatic Movement Therapy claimed its spot at the apex of the pyramid.
For decades, I’ve shared with people that dance was my first language. It is an honest form of expression where thoughts and words have no place for misinterpretation. It was as though my body became the instrument the music played as a physical manifestation of the rhythm. In my thirties, I reconnected with movement as a healing modality and less as proscribed instruction. That’s when magic began to happen. Authentic joy, authentic pain, authentic sorrow, authentic bliss, and every other emotion imaginable were now accessible from a place of greater depth and awareness. My educational journey is ever expanding in the field of Integrative Health so that I may bring you the best quality of care.
The Spirit of Life always and forever will be One Whole. It’s when we move and connect with that energy that we embrace and embody that Oneness both within ourselves and with the world around us.
In love,
